What kind of investment is optimal for TheAsiaInvestment.com?
Recommended Summary:
Amount to invest: $X
Bankroll: 50 units
Investment Duration: 3 months
Well, the answer varies. It depends on your risk appetite. The higher the risk, the higher the returns. It would be best to understand the past history of TAI before one makes their decision. We have three categories to explain. The number of units, the length of investment and the amount of money to invest.
For advance investors, please read the following:
:: The Number Of Units ::
Based on our history of 2500 bets, the peak and the trough are around -34 units before the fund picks up and go into profit. Our units bankroll options is 50 units, 75 units and 100 units. Even though our bets are profitable in the long run, there is such a thing called variance. Variance is the bane of all investments including in the financial market. Its funny that without variance, the casino, sports betting and finance market would be all on halt as losing punter would be losing every time that they will not play anymore thus, depriving the experts from making money from these people as its all a zero sum game. With variance, the losing punters would have some winning runs to make them feel that, they know something and keep them in the game.
Back to our profitable bets, no matter how good we are in the betting, there is such a thing as variance. The more units we have, the more we can withstand hugh variance and eventually go thru the bad patch and recover and make profit.
Based on our research, 50 units will have a 5% chance of going bust, 75 units have around 1 percent and 100 units initial bankroll would be less than 1% chance of going bust. So 100 units seems like the best option as its less than 1% chance it goes thru a bad patch and go bust. We must note that, the crucial period of any fund is the beginning stages of the investment, because once we are profit, such as we hit our bankroll to 75 units, the bankroll has grown to 75units and the chance of going bust from there is 1percent only.
However the situation with 100 units is that. Assuming we will make 100 units over the course of a year. If one had started with 100 units bankroll, and making 100 units profit, that would be a 100% returns. If investing using 50 units, the returns would be 200%(100 units).
So the big question is, is the risk VS the reward worth it?
50 units = 5% Risk of ruin, Profit returns 200%*
75 units = 1% Risk of ruin, Profit returns 130%*
100 units = Less than 1% Risk of ruin, Profit returns is 100%*
*Based on 100 units return per annum. Please also read our stop loss program at FAQ.
Look at this; it is a big question to ask yourself, is the additional 4% in risk is worth the additional returns of 100%? It’s no doubt worth it. However, 5% chance of being bust, DO happen. And WILL happen. So think it through properly before you decide how many units do you want to split your investment.
:: Investment Duration ::
As we speak, variance does happen. The more bets we go thru, the more evenly the variance will even out and the expected profit will be seen. During the weekend, there is more bets than the normal weekdays. However our team of professionals, only bet when the match warrants it. We do not force ourselves to bet to generate more bets, which in turn will generate more turnover therefore more profit and evening out the variance. Since we need time to see the true results due to variance, we HIGHLY recommend the minimal investment period should at LEAST be 3 months even though there is a minimum investment of 1 month. The longer the duration, the better it is.
:: The Amount Of Money To Invest ::
Its simple, the more you invest. The more returns you will get in dollars terms. However we do recommend proper investment strategies. One should not put all money with TAI, because any fund can experience Black Swan Effect including TAI. Even Investment Giant like Lehman brothers went bust earlier this year. The strategy is balance your portfolio! But, with our low risk and high returns, TAI must surely be in your portfolio! And you get the fun of jeering or cheering your teams!
